She boldly told him that they were not social equals and it was the open hearted boldness of this woman that produced a revelation and a blessing not just for herself but for many in the local town.

The equivalent today is to be approached by someone of a different race and sexual inclination. Would you be thwarted by prejudice or would you do as Jesus did and see them from the inside out and give them what they really need?
