MATTHEW 2:1-18

It was a dangerous business being born into a world that had such high expectations for you, even to trigger the most evil-hearted to want to rid the world of you. Herod was such a man, who so feared the Messiah that he cruelly put to death many, in order to blot out ‘the one’. He failed.

Following Jesus today is also a dangerous business, but we have the sure hope that evil men will ultimately fail as long as we fix our eyes on the Heavens, on the star that will never be extinguished.
