Ep. 74: God and Money

LUKE 16

How true is this, ‘no one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.’

The lines can sometimes be blurred, when we feel we are doing God’s work, but need the finances in order to do so. How do we find this money? Do we follow worldly patterns, or do we pray it in, or is it a mixture of both? Tell me about it … I have been there! The key is to follow Jesus’ words and decide Who or who is your master. If you can honestly say it is God Himself, then the resources you need will be forthcoming, but the sources of any money will be in accordance to God’s leadings, whether the money is coming from the Kingdom or the World. Leave that up to God but just make sure you have a pure heart.
