Our priorities are a lot to do with our perspective. Some viewing these events would say that the practical, evidential and life-enhancing miracle is surely the important thing here and that simply being told that sins have been forgiven are just words and hardly practical action. How wrong is that! Knowing your sins are forgiven has eternal consequence and is in the realm of the spirit. Also, accepting this concept is a sure indicator that you understand the importance of it. The clincher here is that Jesus healed him anyway, as a proof of his power to forgive his sins. What a Saviour we have!
