Ep. 36: Trust in him

Jesus always did the impossible and it always helped when the person he is faced with has sufficient faith in him to start with. Their faith opened up the channels required to allow the healing to occur, whether it is raising the dead or healing through the touch on his robe.

Oh, that we can have such faith now. Perhaps our problem is the trust we have in alternatives, namely the skill of our doctors and modern medicine. Perhaps our faith in him is only after all else has failed and he’s our ‘last chance saloon’? Perhaps we should buck the trend and next time you have a headache you address it with prayer rather than the bottle of Paracetamols? The healing would be reward enough, but what about the testing of your faith in small things, to prepare you for the expectation of the healing of bigger things?
