Ep. 79: Acceptance

MATTHEW 19:1-12, MARK 10:1-12

Reading the passage, the words that impact me the most in the context of this message are the last ones, “the one who can accept this should accept it.” This, perhaps, should be a general principle, as we are all different and presented with different circumstances and environments. Some of us are called to a life of solitude, others to the frantic noise and distractions of a large family.

It is what it is and the key for us is to find a way to use our situation to enhance our walk with God, to ask Him how He can use us in accordance with our circumstances. This is especially apt if our circumstances suddenly change. Acceptance may be hard, but we must always seek it, otherwise the enemy may be given a foothold.
