The disciples had got a bit too big for their boots. When Jesus blessed the little children, they rebuked those who had brought them. Jesus wasn’t pleased at this and reminded them as to the importance of kids in the kingdom of God.

We can be a little too ‘adult’ for our own good sometimes. Let’s not forget the innocence of youth. It’s good to drop your guard and be silly sometimes. There’s too much serious nonsense going on around us. Perhaps we should see the world from a ‘kiddie perspective’ sometimes and realise how stuffy we have become!
