For the Pharisees this was the last straw, this miracle of miracles. If we do nothing now then everyone will believe in him! This was their attitude, rather than … Wow, he is who he claims to be, let us worship him! Wake up, I say! If he had proved himself to the religious authorities, you’d think that, with the knowledge of Who they were dealing with, their instinct now would be to follow him!

How much proof so we need in our lives? We may be following him … but are we REALLY following him? If he is who he says he is, then nothing less than the ‘all of us’ should be expected. Perhaps there is more that we can be doing now, eh?
